Mark the overlap: Mark where the string or paper overlaps, then measure the length of the string/paper with a ruler or tape measure.
Compare to the chart: Use the measurement to find the corresponding ring size in the chart above.

Tip: Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest, and avoid measuring on very hot or cold days.
